Classic Hits radio

Classic hits centres on familiar songs from earlier release periods and can cross the boundaries of pop, rock, soul and dance. Unlike a single-decade format, the label alone does not define a precise range of years. It points toward a recognisable back catalogue rather than a selection built exclusively around current chart releases.

Talk radio format

Talk radio is built around spoken programmes and may include interviews, discussion, commentary, and specialist subjects. Unlike a music-led stream, the conversation itself is the main reason to listen. Programme topics, the length of discussions and the balance between guests and presenters can make talk formats quite different from one another.
