Sefton Sound Waves Radio live online

Music across the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s

This station carries decade tags for the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s. Unlike a genre label, a decade gives a time reference: pop, rock, dance and other styles can belong to the same period. This helps distinguish a retrospective selection from a focus on new releases; the tags do not mean that every recording falls exclusively within those decades.

Pop radio

Pop radio usually combines accessible current releases with familiar songs from recent decades, although the balance differs from station to station.
