About the station

Radio Sydväst Närradio Stockholm FM 88.9 broadcasts online (Stockholm, Sweden). Its format and main topics include news and talk programmes.

News and discussion

News and talk are complementary spoken-radio formats: reports concentrate on developments, while interviews and discussions leave more room for context and different viewpoints. A short bulletin suits a quick catch-up; a longer conversation offers time to explore the background and arguments. This combination is a useful starting point for listeners interested in current affairs rather than a music-led stream.
