Alternative Rock radio

Alternative rock covers guitar music with a wide range of textures, from restrained and melodic arrangements to heavier or more experimental sounds. Unlike a decade label, it does not specify one release period. It is a useful starting point for exploring rock beyond a selection defined only by established classics.

Classic Rock radio

Classic rock looks back to established guitar-led recordings rather than concentrating on new releases. Album tracks, riffs and band performances are central reference points, although stations differ in which decades they cover. The label is useful when choosing a rock-oriented alternative to a broader oldies or classic-hits selection.
