Classical Music radio

Classical radio may include orchestral music, chamber works, opera, choral recordings, and solo performances from different periods. Ensemble size and the presence of voices can change the listening experience considerably: a solo piano work offers a different sound from an opera or a symphony. The genre label alone does not restrict the selection to instrumental music.

A varied music selection

A variety format leaves room for different styles instead of promising a single-genre selection. Its appeal is the opportunity to move between contrasting sounds within one station. The label does not specify which artists or release periods will be played, so a short listen is more informative than assuming a fixed musical mood.
