94.9 The Wave - CKPE-FM broadcasts online (Canada). The broadcast language is English. Its format and main topics include 1970s music, 1980s music, and classic hits.
Music across the 1970s and 1980s
This station carries decade tags for the 1970s and 1980s. Unlike a genre label, a decade gives a time reference: pop, rock, dance and other styles can belong to the same period. This helps distinguish a retrospective selection from a focus on new releases; the tags do not mean that every recording falls exclusively within those decades.
